Yonger Bastida is a heavyweight standout who made the journey from Cuba to Iowa State, where he wrestled for head coach Kevin Dresser. Before arriving in Ames, Bastida was already an internationally decorated freestyle wrestler, winning Pan American Junior gold and earning silver medals at the Junior World Championships.
